American Bantam® / Assembled in America
American Steel.
American Jobs.
American Assembly.
No Asterisks.
This is not a marketing page. It is an operating mandate. Every vehicle we build starts with American steel, creates American jobs and is assembled by American workers.
When a company’s name contains the word American, the products they sell in the USA must be built in the USA. No two ways about it.Charlie Paglee, Chairman & CEO, American Bantam®
Our Commitment
Assembled here. Not somewhere else.
American Bantam invented the Jeep in 1940 in Butler, Pennsylvania, with American workers and American materials. Eighty-six years later, American Bantam is building again.
U.S.-melted, U.S.-poured steel in every vehicle
Assembly performed by American workers on American soil
Systematic reshoring, component by component, year by year
Full transparency on our manufacturing progress
01 / American Steel
The same steel that built this country
American Bantam vehicles will be built with American steel, U.S.-melted, U.S.-poured. The same material that built this country’s bridges, factories, and military vehicles for a quarter of a millennium.
We source steel from American mills. We can name the mill. We can show you the coils. We can show you the origin. Because that level of traceability is what “made with American steel” actually means.
We are not cutting corners. Not now. Not ever.
About Our Steel →02 / Our Assembly
Assembled in the USA by American workers
When you buy an American Bantam®, you are directly supporting American manufacturing employment. That is not a slogan. It is the operational mandate.
Our vehicles are assembled in the United States of America. Every chassis assembly, every engine installation, every vehicle inspected, by American workers, on American soil.

03 / Jobs
Bringing jobs home
Every American Bantam vehicle represents a job, or part of one, that exists in the United States instead of somewhere else. That is not an accident. We are actively bringing jobs from overseas back to the United States. That is a deliberate choice we make on every sourcing and manufacturing decision.
We are in the early stages of a long process. We will be transparent about where we are in that process. We will show you our progress, component by component, year by year, without spin.
